Notes from the Captain's Quarters: Lately, I've been seeing a lot, and I mean A LOT, of boats with otherwise caring boat owners, who ARE NEGLECTING routine maintenance and servicing. Unless you can walk on water, you may find yourself 'stuck like Chuck,' in need of an expensive tow or MAJOR repair, costing $1,000's. We offer service year round, at your location, our location, dockside or trailered -- most repairs done immediately & on-sight. Don't let the Marina down the road put you on hold for days, weeks or even months, CHARGING UP TO $130.00 per hour. Please note almost all trim/tilt issues, all lower unit (repairs and maintenance) and all prop/tiller repairs most be done with the boat pulled from the water. And listen, we can't work on them on davits, either. We need solid, stable terra firma. I don't want to see your lower unit in the drink. Ok?

All repairs = $65.00 per hour + parts. A $25.00 service call fee is charged to defray the cost of transportation( usually the first visit only). A diagnostic call is $25.00 for the service call + 65.00 for the first hour or $90.00. The first hour on any repair is not fractional.

Deferred maintenance is expensive especially when corrosion, rust, moisture and dried out boots, seals and gaskets are involved. Keep your boat safe and sound by performing monthly or quarterly maintenance - discount for multiple boat owners in the same marina, who agree to go on the same service schedule. Monthly maintenance service is $65.00 per month. All Marina's in Pinellas and Pasco Serviced Monthly, AT THIS TIME,......but we're expanding - so be on the look out for our service vehicles in your area. PRE-PURCHASE/MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL BOAT INSPECTION : STARTING AT $179.00. COST DEPENDS ON BOAT AND MOTOR SIZE, ($179 = 2 Stoke Motor on a Pleasure Craft.) call for a quote on larger motors and boats. Stem to stern inspection. Written report e-mailed or mailed within 72 hours. Spend a little, potentially save a lot. Don't make a mistake that could cost you THOUSANDS. Inspection covers; all registration and serial numbers for motor, hull and trailer. Trailer condition, lights and wiring, wench, top/bimini condition, functioning of tilt, trim tabs, throttle and steering cables, bilge pump, COMPRESSION TEST IS PERFORMED AND PRESSURES ARE NOTED, thorough electrical system assessment and cooling system, spark plugs and all other systems. The hull is inspected for soft spots, stress cracks, patches and reglassing, cabin condition and appliances are also checked for proper functioning as necessary.
